Guide to Study Rooms

Have you been wanting to use the study rooms at the libraries but are confused about how to book them? Don’t worry, we’ve broken it down for you in this in-depth guide on individual and group study rooms in Strozier and Dirac.  


Undergraduate Study Rooms 

Strozier – Individual Study Rooms 

At Strozier, Individual Study Rooms require a key to enter and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. All individual study rooms are located on the 2nd floor of Strozier and have 4-hour reservation time slots. These rooms are available for use by any student. Visit the Scholar Support Desk for key availability. If no keys are available, you can choose to be placed on a waiting list. You will be sent an email when you are moved off the waiting list!  

Strozier – Group Study Rooms

At Strozier, Group Study Rooms can be reserved online up to 3 days in advance. Head straight to your reserved room for your booked time. These rooms are on the 1st and 3rd floors.  Vacant study rooms are available for use by any person. Group study rooms at Strozier have a 2-hour reservation time slot and can be used by any student. Visit lib.fsu.edu/visit/rooms to book, then head straight to the study room when it’s time for your reservation! Visit the Scholar Support Desk if in need of further assistance.   

Dirac – Individual and Group Study Rooms 

At Dirac, Group & Individual Study Rooms can be reserved up to 3 days in advance. These rooms are key-less with a reservation-priority system. These rooms are located on all three floors in Dirac. They have a 4-hour reservation time slot and can be used by any student. Vacant study rooms are available for use by any person. Visit lib.fsu.edu/visit/rooms to book, then head straight to the study room when it’s time for your reservation! 


Graduate Study Rooms  

Strozier – Graduate Individual Rooms  

At Strozier, Graduate Individual Study Rooms require a key to enter and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. All individual study rooms are located on the 2nd floor of Strozier and have 2-week reservation slots. Before renewing, keys must be returned for a minimum 24-hour period. These rooms are available for use strictly by graduate students and TAs. Visit the Scholar Support Desk for key availability. 

Strozier – Graduate Group Rooms 

At Strozier, Graduate Group Rooms require a key to enter and can be reserved up to 3 days in advance. They are located in the basement of Strozier and have 2-hour reservation time slots. These rooms are available for use strictly by graduate students and TAs. Visit lib.fsu.edu/visit/rooms to book. At the time of your reservation, visit the Scholar Support Desk to check out the key.  

Dirac – Graduate Individual Study Rooms 

At Dirac, Graduate Individual Study Rooms require a key to enter and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. These rooms are located on the 3rd floor of Dirac and have 2-week reservation slots. Before renewing, keys must be returned for a minimum 24-hour period. These rooms are available for use strictly by graduate students and TAs. Visit the desk for key availability. 

Dirac – Graduate Conference Room 

The Graduate Conference Room at Dirac (Room 216) requires a key to enter and can be reserved up to 3 days in advance. This room is reserved strictly for graduate students and TAs. Visit lib.fsu.edu/visit/rooms to book.  At the time of your reservation, visit the Scholar Support Desk to check out the key.
