Food insecurity is something that nobody should have to deal with, though it plagues families and individuals across the entire country. Unfortunately, many go hungry due to a lack of food and overall nutrition, making the need for diverse and nutritious food even more dire. To help address this issue in their respective communities, FSU and UF are continuing a time-honored tradition of competing food donation programs: FSU’s Food for Thought Pantry vs UF’s Alan and Cathy Hitchcock Field and Fork Pantry.
All donations will be used to stock the shelves of both universities’ pantries, which provide food to currently-enrolled students, and in the case of Field and Fork Pantry, faculty and staff as well. Continue reading to learn more about how to donate and support FSU in this annual competition!
Note that UF has beaten FSU in years prior, but that doesn’t decrease our chances this year! Donate what you can, spread the word, and FSU will come out on top!
