Giving Tuesday at FSU Libraries – 2024 Edition

With immense gratitude, FSU Libraries celebrates this past Giving Tuesday. For those unfamiliar, Giving Tuesday is an annual event held on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, encouraging everyone to donate to a cause, whether it’s an institution, individual, or something else, as a demonstration of generosity and thankfulness.

This year, FSU Libraries focused on two important causes: The Heritage Museum and Student Internships, raising approximately $7,000 collectively. We are incredibly thankful for every contribution, no matter the size. Donations to these causes benefit not only the FSU Libraries community but also the broader Tallahassee community. Enhancing the Heritage Museum is crucial for fostering a sense of identity and community, especially among students. Additionally, funding student internships at FSU Libraries empowers interns, helping them grow and prepare for future opportunities.

We look forward to The Great Give, on March 25, for another chance to donate and support these wonderful causes. FSU Libraries sincerely thanks all who have donated so far, recognizing that our achievements would not be possible without the community’s generosity.
