Meet Sinbad Adjuik, Library Assessment Specialist

FSU Libraries is proud to introduce our new Library Assessment Specialist, Sinbad Adjuik. Before stepping into this role, Sinbad worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Digital Research and Scholarship (DRS), where he supported projects involving accessibility, research support, and digital scholarship.

During his time in DRS, Sinbad also helped manage the CreateFSU web hosting platform as well as automation efforts that improve repository data workflows. He also gained valuable experience working at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, where he developed his web development skills further by helping migrate legacy content management systems to Drupal.

In his new role as Library Assessment Specialist, Sinbad will support his team with a major focus in documenting and breaking down data silos across the Libraries. This work will involve identifying key datasets, understanding how they are collected and used, documenting workflows and data ownership, helping build a clearer foundation for future reporting, analysis, and data lakehouse. These efforts ultimately serve to support data-informed decision-making across the Libraries.

Sinbad looks forward to collaborating with teams across FSU Libraries and learning more about the incredible work being done in each department. As he integrates himself into the world of the Libraries, he is eager to grow as both contributor and leader as well as to support projects that will make library data more connected, useful, and accessible.
